Janet Royals, aka "KaRIZma"
is the Founder of Walk This Way Productions/Kalaj!. She is a modeling instructor, fashion show choreographer and producer
and former model, who graduated from Cappa Chell Finishing and Modeling School in 1984. Immediately upon graduation,
Janet begin mannequin modeling in the Northern Virginia area. Her interest soon turned to runway modeling and with over
25 years of modeling experience, she has modeled throughout the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas. She has performed at various
Virginia based organizations at corporate events, schools, and fundraisers for non-profit organizations and churches and has modeled
with other modeling troupes, including Royal Te and Corn's Classics.
Over the years, Janet
has worked with and has trained a variety of models and has also had the pleasure of working with great
designers in the metropolitan area which include Creative Fashions by Queen D and retailers including Dress
Barn (Springfield, VA) and K&G Fashions (Bailey's Crossroads, VA).
Janet is also the former runway modeling coach for Cora Kelly,
Charles Houston, William Ramsey and Patrick Henry Recreation Centers in Alexandria, VA., where she worked with Children
ages 8-12 and Teens ages 13-15. She coordinated and produced fashion/talent shows for the community.
Janet
uses this art to be a positive force in the lives of teens and adults by giving them a positive alternative
to the streets, stirring up their gifts and talents, and building their confidence and self-esteem.
